A friend that I work with asked me to look at this site and give my thoughts on it. This is a really good idea. They call it “Adventure Tourism with a Social Conscience.” The basic idea is you go and see the backroads of a country doing something like hiking or biking, and then you spend some time contributing to the local area. The Vietnam trip is mountain biking followed by the construction of a playground at an orphanage.

I was thinking about it this past weekend, and I think I came up with a good use for this site. I’m exploring the technology and legal implications right now but here’s the basic gist.
I always have business and invention idea, but I rarely get the chance to pursue them. I know that there are plenty of people out there that are in the same boat. So what I’m thinking of doing is launching basically a user driven venture capitalist.
People will be invited to post their ideas and visitors can vote on their favorite idea for $1. That dollar will go into a larger pot and then be awarded to the idea with the most votes by a given date.
Thoughts?
